Disliked:Our stay at Hotel Xcaret México had beautiful moments, but unfortunately, it was heavily overshadowed by a series of stressful and disappointing experiences. We were dropped off at the wrong entrance (Phase 1 instead of Phase 2), which already created confusion upon arrival. After a long trip (last meal at 6:30 am), we asked to eat first, especially traveling with children, including one with autism. Despite this, the concierge kept us for nearly three hours, including itinerary changes and a membership sales attempt, even as we repeatedly asked to feed our children first. We were not escorted to our room, had to find it ourselves between Phase 1 and Phase 2, our key didn’t work, and our luggage only arrived at 5:00 pm. We only managed to eat around 5:30 pm, effectively losing an entire day. We were also unable to get any restaurant reservations during our entire stay, despite trying multiple times. At Xcaret Park, we booked two activities with confirmed timing, but due to delays from the first activity, we missed the second. We were initially denied a refund and had to argue and provide proof to receive it. At checkout, we were wrongly charged a no-show for Xoximilco, even though we attended. Again, we had to prove everything. There was also a $340 photo package charge from the same activity

We love Xcaret but are unsure if we will return, may be time for a new adventure due to the crowds and lack of reservati

Liked:8th visit. It's very nice and clean.

Disliked:Overly crowded due to the new section making it very difficult to eat dinner at a reasonable time. It was also not possible to make advance reservations which was disappointing even though we inquired 30 days before arrival which is their rule.

Excellent family hotel

Liked:We travelled with 2 children (8 and 12) and it was amazing. The service is incredible, food, drinks. Everthing is included, all the trips you can do are amazing. There's a huge variety in pools, roof top pools, slides etc. The beach isn't amazing, that is the only downside. The beach is very rocky. All the restaurants are fabulous, and there are enough a la carte restaurants to choose from without getting bored. It is expensive, but everything is included. Worth the price!
