Liked:We had a brilliant stay there. Our standard room was clean and quite spacious. The resort itself is also quite large, with several dining options and activities. It has a pool and a bar per unit. I would recommend the resort. :)

Excellent resort. Wonderful staff and service!

Liked:The staff were so friendly and available. We were greeted with a welcoming smile every time we engaged with them. The bars and restaurants were really lovely. The selection and quality was excellent and we enjoyed something different at every meal. The bedroom was modern, spacious, and to a very high specifications. The pools and public areas were beautifully maintained, clean and very well staffed. The pool on the beach was the quietest with less activities taking place so you can enjoy the view and relax in peace. The beach restaurant was being upgraded during our visit so a daily pop up restaurant and bar was available instead with drinks service being offered at your lounger. The other pools with swim up bars had more music and activities allowing you to choose the atmosphere that worked for you. The foam party was great fun! Best coffee shop at any resort we’ve stayed at in the Caribbean. The value for money at the time we visited was exceptional.

Disliked:The beach front itself has taken a battering from weather events and has eroded. Hopefully it will be restored but the beach pool and surrounding sandy area went a long way towards making up for the sea being slightly off bounds. You can swim in the sea but during our visit it was not that appealing.

The room was great as well as the staff and but prefer an all adult resort (not just a section).

Liked:All of the staff were very friendly. We liked Route 66 even though the service was slow at times. We had breakfast and dinner twice at El Beso and once at the Italian restaurant, which were good. The daily pool entertainment was also fun.

Disliked:There were a couple of things we did not care for. First, not a fan of buffets, and in most cases, this was the only option. One of our friends has a timeshare with the Hotel but was not permitted to eat with us at the El Beso restaurant, so we went to the buffet that night. Secondly, the food was just okay at the steak, sushi, and hamburger places at lunch. We wished that the pool bars did not close at 5:00.

Good all inclusive. Horrible sargassum problem.

Liked:I really liked the fact that it's really like a small city and you don't have to leave the resort at all if that's your intention, which was ours, given that we were traveling with our almost 2 year old, it was essential for us to have everything we needed - pool, games, food, bed, ocean (will get to this later 😅) in one place. Ocean really does check all of those points. It's really all-inclusive. Drinks, everything. Everyday bottles of water in the room which was really nice. The room was spacious. The restaurants were all very nice, and having the variety was amazing rather than just having to stick to the buffet. You do have to make reservations.

Disliked:Since the beginning once you're checking in they start trying to sell you the vacation package that they offer. It starts with the guy who accompanies you to your room, and then he'll take you to guest services and so on and on and on. We went there to chill and relax. But they were really really pushy so we ended up saying yes. Literally took up our whole first morning. I don't think they should be as pushy with that as soon as you're checking in. That's how I felt in my opinion. You arrived to your Mexican vacation, you wanna relax, you have a toddler. Let people be :) Also, if you want to go for the ocean - avoid at all costs. It was incredibly full of sargassum, it's a horrible point in the riviera maya to go to at this time of the year. Literally cannot get into the ocean. There's animals which is incredibly nice all over the resort, many times we saw turds 💩 in the rooms hallways which were there for hours before anyone in the cleaning team picked it up.
