Liked:The infinity pool and the jacuzzi were great. The health menu on Oceania restaurant was great if you feel like a grill salmon.

Disliked:The beach is full of sea weed (sagusam). I’m talking massive sea weed that you can’t walk on the beach. Don’t even think to swim. The winds were also strong but that can be nice sometimes to be cooled down in the heat.We were there at June for a week. We had internet but was extremely slow in the building were were staying. The staff didn’t care much to fix it. Other reviews praise the shopping mall next to the hotel, it was mainly American brands, and prices are much lower in the US.

A slice of heaven that is minutes to town, but feels like miles away once you walk in the doors

Liked:We have fallen in love with the Westin Lagunamar. It is so close to town and amazing restaurants and shopping, while the beach feels like you are miles away from the city. The rooms are super comfortable, and the beds...well, the Westin bed is the best anywhere. We love the convenience of a kitchen and washer and dryer. It makes our stays so much easier. The infinity pool is HUGE, and the gyms are well appointed. We've stayed many other places in Cancun, but have found our home away from home here.
