Great staff, resort can use some work

Liked:The resort is very pretty, but has a lot of work to do. The elevators are terrible and take up to 10 minutes to get on one. Rooftop bar service is atrocious. Overall Service is fantastic though, if you have a chance to work with Santiago you will be very well taken care of.

Not as good was we expected.

Liked:The best part of this hotel is the staff, very friendly and always trying to take care of your needs. Very nice rooms, food is very good. Now, the quality of the drinks is awful, cheap liquors and only one water down beer. We upgraded to the Diamond Club and that was a waste of money. As a Diamond club you can access the top pool but if you don't want to pay for a cabin you only have a couple of chairs in one corner with no shade. The diamond club lounge is tiny, it has only 3 tables, there you can get their "top shelf" liquors, they consider Johnny Walker red label top shelf, again their alcohol selection is horrible. The night shows are ok but its very difficult to get drinks, very few waiters. This was our first and last time at this resort.

I wouldn’t stay here again, as it doesn’t align with my goal of having a relaxing trip.

Liked:I liked the staff, most of them were nice.

Disliked:Went there with a friend, and we were given a room with one bed instead of two. The next day, I had to go to reception at least three times just to make sure we’d get a proper room with two beds. They asked us to check out the following day, so we did at 12 PM, but didn’t get a new room until 3 PM, which was frustrating. We weren’t new check-ins, so they could have prioritized us and had a room ready within an hour after checkout time. The elevators were another issue, always a long wait, and even when one arrived, it stopped on almost every floor. Overall, it didn’t feel like good value for money. The food was decent, but nothing special. The room itself was quite noisy, there were parties every night, and the beats carried right into our room, making it hard to relax or sleep.
