Liked:Perfect location, super clean, gorgeous views of the Caribbean sea and the beach. I felt very safe and secure. Will book again when I return to Cancun

Disliked:I needed to withdraw cash for deposit from far away because none of the atms nearby worked. Hot water was too hot, if I turned on the cold tap the water would get too cold. Not a deal breaker, it was still an amazing stay. I had to wear a red wristband throughout my stay, but that's for the security of everyone and I appreciate it very much. Can just adjust it a bit loose so you can remove it when you're having a shower or whenever you need to

Very disappointing

Liked:The location is close to restaurants, a grocery store, and the ferry. The staff were friendly. The kitchen was well-equipped.

Disliked:I was put in a room on the second floor, so I missed out on the view, even though it was still nice. They wouldn't switch my room. The bathroom light didn't work at all, nor did the hot water and there was zero water pressure. Cold showers in the dark, haha. The worst part wasn't the noise from the Coco Bongo at night but from the construction throughout the building ALL DAY. Come back mid-afternoon wanting to take a nap, and you can't because it was SO noisy. Sea weed was a problem the first day I was there. But by the second day, it wasn't washing up on the beach. But the hotel never removed the remaining sea weed from the sand. It took 15 minutes to check out so I was late for my ferry. I'm not sure what they were checking since I didn't dare touch the towels (out of fear of having to pay for them, based on other reviews). I used my own towels, which definitely didn't "feel" like I was on vacation. Overall, I'm not sure what I paid for. I'm not a picky traveller and I usually stick with lower budget hotels. But unfortunately, this place didn't meet the bare minimum.
