Overall beautiful, well maintained, a variety of swim, food, rest options. Needs more chairs by pool

Liked:Food is fresh and has good variety, especially Mexican dishes. I like the other guests this place attracts, a lot of very respectful families. Room is spacious enough and clean. Staff overall are friendly an helpful.

Disliked:The sales staff roaming around trying to sell excursions can be aggressive. For peak hours, dinner line up is long. You need to eat before 8pm to avoid, or have a rest. reservation. Impossible to get a chair by the pool. Sometimes I literally sat on the stone surrounding floor. Beach has more seating.

Liked:Beautiful hotel surrounded by palm tress and a lovely beach truly feels like an Oasis. The reception is lovely and large and the selection of different bars and restaurants is great. You can pay a little extra to use some of the other restaurants from the sister hotel next door. I was by myself and the staff really looked after me. The beach is lovely and plenty of sunbeds, the water is quite shallow so great for families with small children. The hotel is in a great position away from the craziness of the main hotel zone strip but only a 10 min bus ride away!

Disliked:bit difficult to get in some of the restaurants, availability is very limited. Rooms are a little dated.

Liked:The beach it was very close to the hotel

Disliked:The hotel needs upgrade, the strong smell of humidity is really bad, outside the rooms and inside the rooms is very bad the smell, the chest of drawers needs upgrade as well they don’t closed properly, the shower mats are disgusting. You can’t take your clothes out from your luggage because of the bad smell The plugs are not working properly and they can hold the plugs. The cleaners should have to do a better standard cleaning. At least the basic cleaning daily. Sometimes they don’t clean the floor or even they don’t change the towels.

Important Information

Upon check-in, guests must pay a one-time Student/Youth resort fee of USD 30. Charges apply for adults between 18 and 25 years old staying from February to April. The policy is mandatory, per person, and not refundable. Cash only. Credit cards issued to people other than guests (i.e., parents, spouses, etc.) are not accepted in Mexico. Student/youth policy (year-round) student/youth Travelers are defined as any guest 24 years of age and younger traveling without a legal parent/guardian, and is applicable at all Oasis properties year-round. Generally, the Grand Oasis Cancún will be the only property accepting student/youth (not applicable to family travel). Any guests meeting the above definition of student/youth traveler are subject to the following conditions: Upon check-in, passengers must pay a one-time student/youth resort fee (charges may vary). This policy is mandatory per person and not refundable. An operator is obligated to inform all students/youths of this charge. The minimum age requirement for property check-in is 18 years of age. At least 1 guest per room must be aged 18 years or older. Minors are not permitted to stay unaccompanied. Any student group traveling with guests under 18 will require a chaperon (s). One chaperon is required per 1-19 students/youths under 18. The minimum age requirement for a chaperon is 25. All students will be assigned a special bracelet for ID purposes; this policy is applicable year-round. Please note that the legal drinking age in Mexico is 18. Government Sanitation Fee & Resort Fee: in addition to the reservation rate, once in the property (during the Check In) you must cover a charge of $225.00 Mexican pesos per room per night. *Rates are subject to change without prior notice.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
