Didnt refund us for refusing service

Liked:Electronic lock locked my family out of the property on the second night. We booked another hotel for that night. Big inconvenience with kids at 12:30 am. After that they DIDN’T REFUND us for the stay!! Also walls are DIRTY and an extra mattress in the storage closet had MOLD. Everything else was satisfactory but it needs a makeover for this price point!

Beware of scam

Liked:The location is great!
Disliked:The people running the property have no sense of time and when you try to connect with them on WhatsApp (their preferred form of communication) they don’t know what property you’re referring to. I traveled from HolBox and reached out for a 1pm checkin, and when we arrived (they confirmed via WhatsApp they would be present to let us in) we had our 3 kids with us and there was no one to be found… we were waiting inside our taxi (with a local driver who said it was the correct address). I contacted booking and they ofc lied and said they were waiting inside…. We are Americans, we are not familiar with downtown Cancún Mexico… we were feeling stressed as the property did not from the outside appear to be any type to day to day rental… we weren’t sure we were even in the right place and then to be utterly ditched by the property manager was crazy…. Don’t stay here, I’m not even sure this place exists… we never were able to check in, and we were not returned our money… It’s a scam to stay here, users beware. Its nonrefundable and we were never able to find or get inside this property
