Great stay with some areas to improve

Liked:Very friendly and helpful staff. Dennis was particularly professional and efficient with anticipating demand and dealing with unexpected situations.

Disliked:Rooms facing the main road were very noisy. The facilities function well but they are too out of date. For instance there’s no spare sockets for charging photos near the bed area and the toilet ventilation was not great.

A comfortable base from which to explore Almaty

Liked:The location is pretty good, you will need to arrive by taxi since Almaty is a city of wide boulevards and roaring traffic, but we got to things we wanted to see easily.Rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean if a bit bland.Bathroom was fine.I had a lovely morning swim in the basement pool.

Disliked:Rooms were pretty reasonably priced but breakfast was quite a chunky add-on. There are several excellent coffee shops close by at a quarter of the price.
