Subpar

Liked:Location.

Disliked:I just had decent experience not very good. I did not have the experience I was expecting. The staff was very rude and they were not welcoming. The hospitality. Kinda was a bummer. It is fine if you just wanna put your luggage in a room and then roam around the city. It is fine, but if you want a good experience, friendly people people then it’s not a good choice. You literally had to ask them to pick your bags and take it to the room. I had a late night flight and there was nobody who could take my bags. I had to literally ask the person at the reception.

A wonderful stay with great breakfast, friendly staff and a convenient location

Liked:We really enjoyed our stay at Kazakhstan Hotel. Everything was excellent. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient. There were three of us, and we all had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Disliked:Nothing in particular. We were very happy with our stay.

Liked:The breakfast Buffet, the building itself

Disliked:I stayed there years ago, when the breakfast Buffet was still on the top floor where you had a view around the whole City and the mountains. Now the breakfast is on the 2nd Floor. The biggest Problem is that now on the top Fluor there is a bar/restaurant which only opens at late afternoon and reqiures a dresscode and appearently has a minimum consumption of 42$. Which is crazy when you think of what the prices for the night are. Our room was nothing special. Nice view (13th floor) but for example the bathroom door did not open fully as it was blocked by the toilet. Nothing huge, but give me something for my money. Also renovation is still in progress. No big impact on my Stay but also no Information beforehand. In my opinion they made a mid overpriced hotel out of something unique and special.
