Very disappointing for what was advertised

Liked:The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The rest is far below one would expect from a hotel that market itself as a four star establishment.

Disliked:I was extremely disappointed with my stay, especially given that this hotel is advertised on Booking.com as a 4-star property. The location is excellent, but unfortunately that was the only positive aspect of my experience. Frankly, the pictures on booking do not in any way the room I stayed in or much of the premises. The hotel is poorly maintained: the corridors are barely lit, and the room was shabby, outdated, and appeared not to have been renovated in decades. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and seemed very old; I experienced back pain during my stay, and the pillows were equally poor. The bathroom is in urgent need of refurbishment. The shower box is far too small and has virtually no space for personal toiletries. Several amenities advertised for the room were also missing, including a safe. The room had poor ventilation, and there was so little space to hang towels that they remained wet and soggy, requiring daily changes. The breakfast was disappointing as well. Although there was plenty of variety, much of the food did not taste fresh. The bread was dry and stale, and some cookies were soggy. I ultimately skipped breakfast on my last day. I would much rather have fewer options with genuinely fresh food. What I find most unacceptable is the huge gap between the 4-star standard advertised and the conditions actually provided. I am genuinely appalled that a hotel presenting itself as 4-star can offer such a shabby room and such poorly facilities. This is not about expecting luxury—it is about expecting a basic standard of comfort, maintenance, and quality consistent with what is being advertised. Overall, this was a very disappointing and underwhelming experience; I would not recommend or stay at this hotel or chain again.

Nice hotel very central in Sao Paulo

Liked:Very central in Sao Paulo. Lots of restaurants and shops all over the place. Big buffet breakfast with a good choice of meals. Also serves as a Libanese restaurant with very good food

Disliked:All restaurants and big streets just outside of hotel also means quite a lot of street noise for your sleeping time.
