living conditions were disappointing

Liked:* Good location with convenient public transportation access to downtown Ottawa (around 15–20 minutes). * Affordable price compared to other accommodation options. * The host responded quickly and resolved the code key issue.

Disliked:* The room and kitchen were not clean. There was dust, dirt, spiders, and even a cockroach in the kitchen. * Poor ventilation and an unpleasant old-house smell. * Noise from other guests late at night (talking, walking, and watching videos after 11 p.m.) made it difficult to sleep. * The number of people sharing the property and the overall living conditions were disappointing.

Rooming house

Liked:The only thing I liked was the location and communication with staff. There were friendly, and professional.

Disliked:This is basically a rooming house and while its not the Renter's fault, but you never know who your house mates will be. For the amount of people it holds there is only one bathroom, and when there is 8 people throughout the rooms, its difficult to get turn. Then there is no respect or consideration for other people. For example the people I shared the house with were dirty, wouldn't share the tv, and would sleep on the floor by kitchen, making it uncomfortable to go to kitchen. Roommates can be loud in morning and the walls are thin. I would never go back.
