Extremely Disappointing Stay — Nothing Like the Photos

Liked:Well I guess the only thing I enjoyed was probally the day I got to leave .....absolutly the worst booking I have ever stayed at

Disliked:I honestly don’t know where to begin with this stay, because from the moment we arrived, it was one disappointment after another. We booked two units based on the information and photos provided in the listing. One of the biggest reasons we booked was because the photos showed a stove, and we specifically planned on being able to cook some of the food we brought with us. When we arrived, there was no stove. Instead, there were small hot plates that appeared extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The cooking equipment and dishes available also appeared greasy and as though they had not been properly cleaned. The photos in the listing were also extremely misleading. Based on the condition of the property, I genuinely have to wonder how old those photos are, because they certainly did not accurately represent the condition of the place we walked into. The cleanliness was one of the biggest problems. The units were dusty and dirty, including inside the cupboards where the dishes and cooking supplies were stored. Opening the cupboards and seeing dirt and dust immediately made us question whether anything had actually been cleaned before our arrival. We were uncomfortable touching things without washing our hands afterward. Unit 3 was particularly bad. The smell of marijuana was incredibly strong. It was not a faint or occasional smell — the entire unit smelled as though it had been repeatedly hotboxed. It was overwhelming and made the unit extremely unpleasant to stay in. To be completely honest, we almost left immediately after entering the property. The only reason we stayed was because we already had tickets and plans for activities in the area. Had we not had those commitments, we would have seriously considered leaving and finding somewhere else to stay. Then there was the noise. We received messages reminding us about the property's rules, including the 11:00 PM quiet time.
