Above expectations

Liked:Bed was comfortable. Room was above expectations for the price in terms of size, on par with big name chain hotels. Saw one pillbug crawling into the room through the doorway. Otherwise no complaints on cleanliness. The staff was adequately friendly and professional.

Disliked:Like all the reviews state, the elevator is old and anxiety-inducing. It never failed on me, but the floor readout panel bugs out every time and it seems to take an unusually long amount of time for the elevator to level off at floor level. The foyer/coffee/wardrobe portion of the room was quite dark. There may have been a light switch I missed that was not immediately obvious. There is no obvious drop off/pick up spot for the hotel. There are several ominous NO PARKING/STOPPING AT ANY TIME signs posted along the street at the front of the hotel, and no access from the back. I ended up being dropped off in a parking lot behind the hotel and walking through the adjacent Ramada parking lot with my luggage to check in.
