Liked:We loved the room, it was spacious, very clean, very quiet, we had a great shower and it is in a really good location. Luggage storage if you need it The desk/check-in staff were ok. Breakfast was okay, but could be improved.

Disliked:No welcome bottle of water in the room. This is a small gesture which is always welcome after a long journey. No tea or coffee, either. Strange (or stingy) not to be included for the price of the room, including them would make a huge difference to guests. We went for a walk to the lake and back and decided to sit in the hotel bar and have two or three drinks. We headed to the bar and sat on two barstools. There were two young male members of staff, one was stood talking to a man sat at the bar who already had a drink, and the other was serving, everybody but us! We sat and waited, and waited, and waited, waiting for somebody to serve us, or at least acknowledge us, but no. After 15 minutes of sitting and being totally ignored, we upped and left and returned to our room. We were very disappointed. Now, if this is happening on a regular basis, your staff are losing a lot of revenue for the hotel and it marrs the good work the rest of the staff are doing. Maybe they could do with some customer service refresher training! For this reason I have marked staff an 8 instead of a 10, which it saddens me to have to do because the hotel is lovely.
