Basic but Good

Liked:The room was very small and bare-bones, but for one night it was fine. Location is great — walking distance from the train station and plenty of bars and restaurants. The breakfast spread was surprisingly good.

Perfect Hotel in Old Town

Liked:A special small hotel in the heart of Old Town. The rooms were comfortable, great breakfast,which is included, and really friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful restaurants and shops in the surrounding area. It was a good value and was a great stay.

Ideal for a city break

Liked:The hotel was located within walking distance of Zurich’s main railway station, which makes the location ideal if you are planning to take small trips outside the city, such as visiting the Rhine Falls. It is also situated in the historic center of Zurich, and all the major attractions are very close and easy to reach on foot. The hotel is on a charming small street in the old town, surrounded by the picturesque atmosphere of historic Zurich. There are also several tram stops right nearby, so you can easily take a tram to any part of the city. That said, the location is also perfect for exploring the city simply by walking. In addition, some of the best restaurants and bars in the city are located in the same area, so it is very convenient if you want to enjoy great food and drinks without having to travel to other neighborhoods. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the bed was excellent. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice buffet offering a variety of options. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. Whenever I asked for information about train schedules or how to visit different attractions in the city, they were always ready to assist. On one occasion I even asked if the room could be cleaned a second time during the day, and they kindly did it without any problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Zurich, especially for a city break.

ok for a few nights

Liked:we spent one night here at the end of our time in the country. The location is great and very walkable for nearly everywhere a tourist might visit. Our twin room was small, and spartan, with one small window overlooking a very noisy alley (lots of drunk people screaming late into the night). Its likely not a great sign when the hotel provides earplugs in the room. The wifi worked well. Beds were ok, but very scratchy sheets and duvete. Staff were ok. The breakfast was pretty good.
