Amazing stay

Liked:I stayed in the Beachfront suite. Amazing experience and feet's away from all the beach clubs. I love having my own private pool. The floating breakfast add on was also amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Not a luxury hotel

Liked:Great location and view but not a luxury hotel. The beach is beautiful, warm, and quiet. The rooms are spacious and connect to stunning salt water pools. The beach massage station overlooks the water, and you can have dinner overlooking the dock every night. It is gorgeous, but the problem is everything looks run down. The beach chairs have mold and nobody seems to clean them. We got to the beach at 10 am, and every chair was covered in sand and trash surrounded the chairs presumably from the night before. The flags are torn and faded. Our credit cards only worked on half of the machines for no known reason. The front desk workers are fantastic and knowledgeable, but the rest of the service staff seem to hate their jobs. As a 2 person group, we never had a meal shorter than 2 hours. You constantly watch groups of 4-5 people standing around talking. Most of the time when I made eye contact with servers they would just look away. Every time we sat for a meal we waited 10-15 minutes before even getting glasses of water. We reserved private cabanas every day (due to the dirty chairs), and after they first bring over your water and fruit, they never come back. We stayed for 6 hours at the beach one day and had 2 drinks. Both times we had to go to the bar and ask so we stopped asking. We would have spent much more money if people offered us food and drinks. It’s genuinely infuriating. The prices are slightly high but not completely unreasonable. It’s overall a fine hotel but NOT a luxury experience.

Disappointing “Luxury” Experience – Not Worth the Price

Liked:This “luxury resort” fell far short of expectations. We stayed in the Penthouse suite, which felt more like a basic apartment than a premium experience. Upon arrival, the refrigerator was completely empty—no drinks or refreshments—and only two small bags of chips were provided. Each bedroom had just two bottles of water, which felt inadequate for a high-end stay. There were multiple maintenance issues: exposed electrical wiring in the master bedroom, malfunctioning thermostats, and inconsistent air conditioning (the master room was warm while the other was freezing). Lighting throughout the rooms and bathrooms was also poor, especially with the dark finishes. One bedroom had two full beds pushed together, still smaller than a queen. Additionally, the master bedroom is located next to two beach clubs, making it extremely noisy before midnight—far from relaxing. Customer service was inconsistent, with some staff unable to answer basic questions. Positives: the views from the penthouse were beautiful. Raksha (Assistant Manager) was responsive, and Hensley from guest services was excellent and very helpful. Overall, I would not recommend this resort. It seems more focused on charging guests for extras than providing a true luxury experience.
