A charming stay with outstanding hospitality and thoughtful touches, only slightly affected by noise and light at night.

Liked:We stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon and really appreciated the warm welcome, including the personalized card. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also loved the restaurant, the plunge pool, the efficient laundry service, and the excellent air conditioning, which made our stay very comfortable.

Disliked:The main downside was the noise insulation. Because of the single-glazed windows, street and surrounding noise was very noticeable, especially at night. A lot of light also entered the room even with the shutters closed. On our first night, renovation work in the apartment next door continued until around 1:30 a.m., which was disruptive. However, after we informed the staff, the issue was resolved and did not occur again for the remainder of our stay.

Liked:The outside balcony and location was fantastic

Disliked:They physically had to drill into the wall while I came back from diving was trying to take a nap They tried to show me a false reservation under my name and made it sound like they were doing me a favor when they canceled it even though I never made the reservation Dutch customer service.... and I'm Dutch

Overall, we would recommend this place and we enjoyed our stay. However, in hindsight, it might have been better to book

Liked:Great location, excellent breakfast, and incredibly friendly, well-prepared staff. They were always helpful, smiling, and quick to resolve any minor inconveniences. They made sure we had extra pillows, blankets, and coffee, and also gave great recommendations on which beaches to visit. The bed was very comfortable. Having the beach right there was amazing, especially enjoying breakfast with that view. However, it was a bit surprising that swimming in the sea wasn’t possible, as the coastline is rocky and therefore not safe for bathing.

Disliked:They upgraded our room to a bigger and better one for free, which we really appreciated. The street-view room was very spacious and comfortable, but unfortunately it was too noisy. They kindly moved us back to the originally booked smaller room, which was much quieter and better for resting. However, it felt quite small indeed for a full week—there wasn’t much space to dry wet swimsuits and clothes, the bathroom was well optimized but also extremly small, and the coffee machine was hard to access in the closet.
