Overall, we would recommend this place and we enjoyed our stay. However, in hindsight, it might have been better to book

Liked:Great location, excellent breakfast, and incredibly friendly, well-prepared staff. They were always helpful, smiling, and quick to resolve any minor inconveniences. They made sure we had extra pillows, blankets, and coffee, and also gave great recommendations on which beaches to visit. The bed was very comfortable. Having the beach right there was amazing, especially enjoying breakfast with that view. However, it was a bit surprising that swimming in the sea wasn’t possible, as the coastline is rocky and therefore not safe for bathing.

Disliked:They upgraded our room to a bigger and better one for free, which we really appreciated. The street-view room was very spacious and comfortable, but unfortunately it was too noisy. They kindly moved us back to the originally booked smaller room, which was much quieter and better for resting. However, it felt quite small indeed for a full week—there wasn’t much space to dry wet swimsuits and clothes, the bathroom was well optimized but also extremly small, and the coffee machine was hard to access in the closet.

Better places for the same price

Liked:The location and the view from the restaurant. The breakfasts were good.

Disliked:We paid more for a deluxe city view. It was a more spacious room, but too much noise from the street. The windows were not sound proof so you could hear everything from the street. The shutters were not working properly so light filtered to the room at night. Also the wind kept moving the loose windows and making noise at night. I tried telling the staff and said they couldn’t do anything about it. So some paper was put to try to hold the window in place. If you want to rest, pick a room facing the sea or at the back of the hotel. We had dinner once and decided that the food was better in other places.

Generally a nice hotel with a nice vibe, but felt the room was expensive for what you got.

Liked:A nice hotel. Restaurant has a lovely setting overlooking the ocean. Basic menu but good food quality. Very spacious bedroom and the highlight was the large balcony. Some of the staff were very friendly, bubbly and active. A short 10-15 min walk to town. Good aircon and fans. Room cleaned daily and towels replaced. Reception staff extremely helpful in booking taxis and excursion, and in general.

Disliked:Room was spacious but basic for the price. No milk provided with coffee capsule. Room located over the kitchen with very noisy staff, so no lie-in after 7.30am and no sleep until later in the evening. Generally a clean room but don't look under the bed. Some bar/waiting staff extremely friendly but others looked as though they had a late night out the evening before and didn't want to be there. All our taxis were late so remember to book for your taxi half hour earlier than you would expect. Hotel quite far from any natural beaches. Hotel pool as advertised, but small and mainly in the shade, next to the bar.
