The front desk is opened from 09:00 and closes at 20:00. Please let Alpenglow Lodge by Bill know if you expect to arrive after 20:00 and late check-in instructions will be emailed. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. All units are nonsmoking and pets are prohibited. Housekeeping services are provided once for stays of five days or longer, midway through the stay. Daily housekeeping can be scheduled for an additional fee.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Liked:The building itself is beautiful and is in such a great location!

Disliked:The photos of the rooms are quite misleading unfortunately and don’t depict how small the space actually is, I booked a room to fit 3 adults - knowing it had a king bed and sofa bed as described (which in the pictures look like there is plenty of space and they are separate from each other), however, the sofa bed is not fit for an adult, and once folded out, there was only just enough room to get around it and the main bed. I went to just ask at the front desk if there was any other options of rooms we could move to, but it was then I was told that this particular room (and only a handful of others) is rented out by a third party and unfortunately they weren’t able to assist, and advised that all that could be done was to try and contact the owner through Booking.com. I contacted the person managing the listing of this property to ask the same question and was told there was nothing else available, which is totally understandable, however it was then implied in their response that I ‘must’ve known what I was booking’, which I thought I did but advised of the misleading photos not depicting what had been booked.

Great location, very comfortable. Would stay here again.

Liked:Great location, only a few minutes’walk to the Village Centre, Village Stroll & bus station. Close to a range of cafes & restaurants. Lovely warm quilts, comfy bed & pillows.

Disliked:Decor is looking a bit tired & grubby, but if you’re visiting Whistler, you’re not staying inside for long!

good but loud

Liked:The room itself was great, it even had a little kitchenette, though we did not use it.

Disliked:I didn't realize this was not a proper hotel; there is no one at the front desk after 10 pm to make noise complaints; the room sign just says call the police. Our neighbours rolled in after midnight and turned on the music and went onto the balcony to hang out. I stuck my nose out and said we were sleeping, they turned the music off but kept talking and laughing on the balcony, which was unfortunately still quite loud to sleep. This wouldn't be a police complaint but more like a hotel policy that could be enforced if someone had been here. More loud sounds from the pool area around 2 am... so we were not well rested for our second day of skiing.

Expensive Mediocre Mold

Liked:Location was central.

Disliked:1) black mold on windowframes 2) weird tapping noises coming from air conditioner 3) hallway smelled of must and 50nyears if spilled coffee 4) balcony sliding door was broken 5) yet another accomodation that requires we take out the trash and start the dishwasher.
