Don’t trust the reviews- will do in a bind but would not recommend.

Liked:The staff were lovely and pool was a decent size. Location is easy to walk to many places.

Disliked:It’s very run down in the rooms and shared spaces. It would have been a lovely hotel at some point but sadly no renovations or improvements have taken place. The bathrooms are water damaged (see picture), the bedroom itself is tired, needs painting and the bed is really uncomfortable- it’s a small bit of foam over a mattress that should have been thrown out years ago as it is hard and the springs are solid and uncomfortable. The swing in the room was dirty on the cover and there is no light in the room on a sunny day even if both windows are open due to the massive building next door. Deck chairs are damaged, the wood by the pool is lifting in places and there is nothing in the hotel to discourage mosquitoes like in many others. The pool is also used as a thoroughfare for staff at the restaurant and hotel (a lot of staff) so is not a peaceful relaxing place. I know the price is reasonable but we actually switched to this hotel from another because of the excellent reviews- but I really cannot understand why the reviews are so good, I can only assume the bad ones were asked to take down.
