Interesting apartment in Rio city center

Liked:The location is very interesting, as you're essentially staying in the business part of the city center, on a relatively high floor, overlooking a lot of corporate offices. The building is safe, the staff are nice and helpful and within the building itself there are stores and restaurants. As with most locations in Brazil, there are pharmacies and stores in the vicinity. Many of the city center sights are within arm's reach, which is great for exploring during the day. The apartment is interestingly furnished and served me well as a home office as well. The washing machine was a useful inclusion.

Disliked:My only big issue was that the bathroom had no ventilation whatsoever. This meant that the moisture stayed trapped inside the bathroom and the apartment and there were some small flies that were obviously thriving in that kind of humidity. Still, overall, I liked the apartment.

Great location and faciltiies

Liked:the location of the apartment was great and the cooking facilities were great with full fridge, table, plates, cutlery etc. The TV had Netflix which was amazing on those nights we had a busy day and just wanted to chill. the shower was powerful. Laundry facilities and Clothes horse was extremely useful.

Disliked:when we arrived the apartment smelled of cigarette smoke and it took days to leave with the windows being left open. once the smoke smell had cleared there was a smell of damp in the entrance.
