Disliked:The beds are old and need changing. They cave in the middle causing a back ache and it forces you to sleep in the middle. The pillows are not comfortable either, they feel made of cheap material. The balcony walls are crumbling - needs renovation. For a 5 star hotel it’s lacking that 5 star charm

Disliked:I was expecting to be able to play golf at later hours. The golf course was closing at 5pm, which would force me to play during very hot hours in the afternoon.

Sadly the cons outweighed the pros

Liked:The breakfast was the best bit of the hotel and the size of the pool. There was a lot of variety for breakfast and they could cater for gf needs too which we were thankful for.

Disliked:The hotel was quite dated. The room was very small and had mould in a few places and in the bathroom. It looked tired. The amenities were sparce for a 5*...only providing a shower cap and no conditioner in the bathroom. No complimentary water except on check in. No turn down. No USB charging points. We had to make the duvets up ourselves. The towel cards for the pool felt very dated. The pool toilets weren't in good condition. The tennis courts were tired and you had to pay for them. Again not particularly 5* sadly

All prices are all-inclusive with taxes and fees. A valid credit card is required at check-in. No additional resort or service fees will apply.

Important Information

From June to September, guests have free access to the Hotel's Beach Club, at Alvor Beach, with beach towels, sunbeds and sunshades. From June to September, the hotel has a free shuttle bus that transports guests to and from Alvor beach. Children aged 3 to 12 years are offered free entrance to the Children's Club, whilst a fee is charged for children aged 6 months to 3 years. Please note that use of the hotel’s beach concession will incur an additional charge. Payment Information For individual reservations: Credit card and identification documents will always be requested upon check-in as a guarantee. Clients that are not credit card holders will have to leave a 25% deposit. For group reservations: For reservations of 10 or more rooms, payment conditions are as follows: - 10% payment of the total reservation cost must be made to the hotel at the time of booking; - The remaining 90% must be paid 7 days prior to the groups' arrival. The hotel has a specific group (+10 rooms) cancellation policy, that will be informed at time of booking. Clients departing prior to booked departure date will be charged the complete stay. A deposit may be required at the property.
