Great stay, service could use some work.

Liked:Rooms were good size and nice and clean.

Disliked:Asked about 3 times for my phone to be fixed and they never fixed it. Had to go down to reception to ask for anything I needed each time.

Liked:Yes the property is close to the beach if you are staying for afronation. And the cleaning staff specifically are very good and super fast.

Disliked:The staff at the property were insanely hostile and rude. I’ve never had such a bad experience at a highly rated hotel. The experience I had at TURIM was one of which a 2-3 star hotel would be. The staff did not supply our room with the regular disposable things like shower caps, toothbrush’s ect. When I asked the staff for some she reluctantly gave us some after saying NO, and her colleague said we can have some. I can only assume it was a racist move on the hotels part as they decided not to stock the rooms booked for the Afronation festival. Why else would they not want to use their disposable things on those PAYING to stay with them. It makes no sense. The EXTRA COST of breakfast was also not worth it, every day for 6 days it was the same food - no variety at all and they don’t offer take away like most highly rated hotels would. Furthermore, when I asked toilet papery to be brought up to our room, they said I have to go down and get it myself. That’s poor service from a highly rated place. Not only this, they did not help us with baggage to the room, they did not explain who we can call to contact reception AND they did not replenish our towels upon request.
