Liked:Within walking distance to all train stations. Detailed info on access, entry and use of facilities was provided.

Disliked:There is hardly any daylight in the downstairs rooms, so it´s quite dark and cold. Seats with a backrest would be very welcome, as well as slippers for indoor use. Emergency exit light upstairs is very bright and shines into your face when in bed.

Liked:Lovely accommodation and the location is brilliant. Getting in and out of Kyoto was really easy and it was nice to stay somewhere a little different. Otsu has plenty going on if you want a quieter evening and Lake Biwa is beautiful.
