Liked:It's comfortable, clean and located just right above starbucks and Otsu station. They even have a lot of mangas for you to read, if you can read Japanese.

Disliked:Don't get me wrong, this hostel is good base for exploring Lake Biwa and surrounding and also being close to Kyoto. My mistake was booking this place just because I want to be cheap and near Kyoto. Despite it's just 9 minutes away, you have to time the train to go and return from Kyoto. I ended up staying just 2 out of 4 nights that I booked and moved to Kyoto, and will never regret.

Good location but smell wasn’t amazing

Liked:Very close to Otsu station so super easy to get into Kyoto.

Disliked:It smelt like smoke everywhere. Even if you were far from the smoking room.
