Mostly comfortable

Liked:The room was mostly clean. Nothing crazy that I was worried about. The location was fine, and it was mostly quiet. Could only really hear other people if we were out in the hallway. Staff was nice.

Disliked:The pool is over chlorinated. I understand that they want to keep it clean because there’s lots of people coming in and out, but the imbalance in chemicals left a very sticky film in my hair, and even after washing over ten times with a clarifying shampoo, the film still remained. This made my hair smell like chlorine no matter what I did, and it would stick together and tangle, and it almost made my hair matted. I had to cut about 3 inches off of my hair to maintain its health. There were also a few stains on our bed sheets and the shower curtain. The shower curtain also would not stay closed no matter what we did.

Disliked:I could not get cell service in the area and only learned of it after arriving for my check in and finding out my room was cancelled by Booking .com. I received no phone call or email of the is cancellation which resulted in me not having a place to stay for the weekend. Thanks for the worse birthday ever.

Relatively quiet and comfortable, but maintenance is lacking.

Liked:The main highlight is we felt we had comfortable sleep.

Disliked:Cleanliness and maintenance is *very* hit or miss. I have never asked to switch rooms at a hotel, but did. Even the switched room needed some basic care. The shower was not clean, period. The refrigerator didn't work. The toilet seat was loose and coming off. Buttons on the tv remote didn't work. Dirty hand prints on the bathroom door. There were stains in many room locations. Even in the new room there stains on the lamp shade? Probably from customers touching with dirty hands over stays but maybe after some time, these things need to be replaced. It's part of maintenance and service anywhere. No fault of the cleaning employees. There is clearly a subpar level of attention to general room maintenance overall.
