Liked:The hotel is not too far from the beach, there are cafes at a walkable distance.

Disliked:The personnel at the reception could hardly speak English. The communication happened mostly through the Google Translator which lead to several misunderstandings. They couldn't explain clearly what we need to pay for and why. They didn't know which room we have booked and were confused. Because of that we were put in the wrong room and then about 5 hours later asked to move because they made a mistake. They did apologize and bring a bowl of fruits to say sorry, but it was another inconvenience after a long night of traveling. It happens, I understand. They seemed to be trying, I hope it gets better with time.

Very good

Liked:The hotel is very good. I booked a room with a balcony and a sea view, which was amazing! The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, so I slept really well at night. The breakfast was good.

Disliked:The pool appeared to be poorly maintained and not clean, so I didn’t feel comfortable swimming. The air conditioning in the gym wasn't working.

Should have done more research into where to stay.

Liked:The location is way up the north end of the beach its about 6kms away from the main entertainment area of the city so if you are wanting to be away from the main strip and in the Russian area then its good else move closer to the entertainment. Room itself is nice decent size, good bed comfy but there has to be a standard of bathroom cleaning that needs upgrading, the grout and ceiling has that black mould which comes from poor ventilation and lack of using proper bathroom cleaning products and actually scrubbing the walls. But seems to be common across the mid tier Vietnam hotels.

Disliked:The first big negative is that when asked to prebook collection from the airport, the booking was never organized. Numerous calls to the hotel while at the airport all unanswered, no voicemail and not even hold message that its actually the correct number of the hotel you've called. Left to organize own Grab. Then arriving at the hotel, the front desk was completely unaware of knowing how to book a shuttle collection. It was 2 days till I received an apology for not organizing my pickup but no compensation offered for the alternative transport I had to organize on the fly. The additional facilities are in complete disrepair I don't know how they can be advertised as features of the hotel. The "gym" is in a room the size of a bathroom up at the skypool with just electric treadmill, elliptical and a rower all of which barely function. The sauna next to the gym is turned into a storage room of crappy worn out pool chairs. The furniture surrounding the pool is worn out and rusted but is only a couple high tables and 2 pool chairs. I don't know if its a thing in Nha Trang but there is limited to no assistance in tour or activity bookings, there's a magazine stand of brochures but there's no knowledge or selling of the activities. Its left up to finding one of those tourists booths on the street all run by Russians to understand what's on offer.

Liked:The hotel staff was nice, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The view of the city and ocean were really pretty.

Disliked:The breakfast was not that good. The food and utensils wasn’t stocked up fast enough. The pool were a little dated and dirty. The location wasn’t optimal, but good for getting out of the noisy town.
