Great for a Short Stay, but Not for a Full Vacation

Liked:This Hotel is a good choice if you're planning to spend 2-3 days on the island and visit VinWonders without leaving the island. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for an entire vacation, as it doesn’t quite live up to five-star hotel expectations. The breakfasts are excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff are always friendly. The resort has a beautiful and well-maintained garden area. There’s also a beautiful pagoda within walking distance where you can enjoy great views and walking in a quiet place, and the evening entertainment adds a nice touch to the stay. However, the rooms feel outdated and have poor sound insulation. The beach and the sea were noticeably dirty during our visit, and there isn’t much to do at the resort itself throughout the day. The island also offers very little beyond the amusement park, so if you plan to spend most of your vacation exploring Nha Trang, commuting back and forth by cable car or ferry can quickly become inconvenient and time-consuming. Overall, it’s best suited for a short getaway rather than a longer stay.

Liked:Exceptional stay, clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast is next level. Transport around the island is surprisingly easy back and forward to Vin Wonders. Lots of restaurants to eat at around the resort and are cheaper than eatting at Pearl Harbour.

Liked:We stayed in a four bedroom villa with pool. The villa was excellent, lots of space, the pool was excellent, the facilities were good, the staff are really good. Each room had it's own bathroom so lots of space for people to move around. You can use the cable car operational till 9pm (not operational if there is bad weather or windy), speedboat is 24hours and super quick from the island to the mainland and vice versa. You will have to take a grab to get from the mainland reception to the city centre. The beach is beautiful however the tourists leaving plastic bottles behind end up in the water or on the sand, the staff constantly have to clean up.

Disliked:The resort is on an Island, there was someone from the resort to meet us at the airport, the travel time was 40-45 min drive from the airport to the reception on the mainland. You were then checked in and you can take a speedboat or cable car to the Island. If you take a speedboat - Great, there will be a TukTuk to pick you up to take you to the resort reception area, if you opt for a cable car, the directions they give you are not great, we got to the island got off the cable car and walked through some sort of weird (think of it like Disney main street) harbour side area with lots of restaurants serving really bad food and some kids rides and go carting area, lots of shops selling the same products and souvenirs, and convenience stores. You cannot bring food into the island from the mainland but you can buy from the convenience shops to take stuff to your room at the resort. We had no idea where to go from there and there was no resort staff to ask. We ended up asking staff from one of the shops to let us know where to go. Once we found where to go you had to take a TukTuk with other people staying at 3 other resorts (so you go to a TukTuk area and wait for your resort TukTuk), there is an amusement park on this island as well. Once you take the TukTuk they take you to a resort reception they explain where breakfast is and times, they let you know about the resort then you get on another TukTuk to go to your Villa. There are alot of people at this resort, the only quiet you have is in the Villa. The restaurant here is large with lots of breakfast options but there is also many kids and many people (we went during what was supposed to be a quiet period and it was extremely busy). The holiday makers here are very dirty with no social etiquette, if they don't find a utensil to take something from the buffett they will use their hands. The food outside the resort in the harbour area of the island is also bad. Main tourists here are Russians.
