Azul Highs and Lows

Liked:Some team members were extremely helpful and pleasant such as: Leshauna at the Front Desk, Camille at the Adults only pool bar, Alphanso at Nesta's , Jason at Coffee Shop, Calmore Bell man, Venessia the hostess at the Italian restaurant and Garyann at the Spa. The singer in the lobby was awesome, truly talented and very pleasant. The hot tub, main pool and adults only pool were great. The beach was lovely and the cabanas were a great touch. The beach attendant was efficient and friendly. The property was generally clean as was the room. There was a decent selection of food at the buffets and the specialty restaurants. We had an incident on property and the nurse as well as Petrina were exceptional with their follow up.

Disliked:Our major concerns were: Some team members appeared upset and that we were more of a bother than guests requesting a service. The restaurants' outright refusal of reservations then got easily overwhelmed once groups arrived to be seated, thus long wait times for seating at all restaurants and meals ruining the dining experience. The room had areas that showed water damage on a small area of the wall in the bedroom poorly painted over. One of the room divider doors was damaged and would not close /move properly. The shower hose and head had the holster improperly mounted and there was a minor water leak at the connection between the hose and the shower head. There was a water outage in the morning which was rather disturbing throwing off all of our plans for the day as we had to wait to shower.

Azul is a nice hotel but the customer service was not good and the food was okay.

Liked:The property was nice but it was not clean. My room was missing a lot of amenities and the staff were not very nice about supplying the items.
