Poor service poor room interior

Liked:I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. We arrived early at 6:35 AM and requested early check-in, even offering to pay extra. The staff informed us the room would be ready in about 1 hour. We agreed and went out for breakfast, returning around 8:50 AM. However, the staff on duty had changed, and we were again told the room was not ready and had to wait another hour. This lack of coordination was inconvenient. The housekeeping trolley was kept in the corridor throughout the day, which made the area feel cluttered. The soundproofing is quite poor — sounds from the corridor, including doors opening and normal conversations, are clearly audible inside the room. The flooring appears old and produces creaking noises, and the bathroom door lock was not in good condition, which may affect comfort and privacy. Additionally, it appeared that different categories of guests were accommodated on separate floors, which felt unusual. Overall, the hotel could improve its coordination, maintenance, and noise management to enhance the guest experience

Total Disappointment

Liked:Except for the location of this hotel, I cannot seem to figure out how in God’s name is it deemed as a 4-star hotel. With only 1 staff at the reception check in didn’t take long and was pleasant. Booked their “Superior Room” for 3 nights and the moment I walked into the room it looked more like a box shaped room which would put some of the OYO rooms to shame. The en-suite bathroom was not at all acceptable. No exhaust, no ventilation unless of course you open the bathroom door while using it! Shower head was leaking from side kind of spraying water all around and had to manage it somehow. The so called “Fariyas Wi-Fi” is just for namesake & will remind you of the dial-up connections we used to have at home. Sometimes it works for a bit then goes down abruptly. Call help desk to complain about it and they automatically assume you are watching movies/videos on your device. I called help desk to complain when I was just trying to open and read an article; their response was hilarious: “Hotel Wi-Fi is not for watching streaming videos”. When I told them I was just trying to read an article, they promised to “re-start” the Wi-Fi but as expected nothing happened & it remained the same. Thank God I had good amount of mobile data to manage. The corridor carpet has a distinct smell & clearly gives an indication that deep cleaning needs to be done. My next day after checking in they probably had some termite issue next door and instead of ensuring other nearby guests are either shifted to another room, they decided to open the termite infested room and spray with heavy odor chemical which had a strong pungent smell throughout the corridor and inside my room. Overall, the stay at the hotel was not pleasant at all and I for one would definitely not recommend anyone I know to stay here.

Amazing

Liked:Superb hotel nice view. Ms Uzma and Ms Varsha were very helpful. Breakfast was very nice and big spread. And very close to colaba street shopping market. Walking distance. Staff was very co ordinate.

Great location

Liked:Stayed here for 3 nights, small room, great staff, plenty of water supplied, best bit was the location to everywhere very handy. Breakfast was chaos though, too many people for such a small area.
