Hilton Diamond member turned away

Liked:I had reserved 2 suites for our church group of 12. We were in town for a 3 night conference. I reserved one room with our Hilton loyalty points and cash for the second. Upon arrival, the lady at the desk tells me that she was just given word that the a/c just broke in BOTH of our suites. I’m sorry….but I don’t believe this to be the truth. She then pretended to be troubled in what she could possibly do to accommodate us, clicking away on her computer. She then says, “I just don’t know…. I mean…. I have 4 single bed rooms…. But that’s it… and with your group, I don’t think that will work for you”. I say, “that’s fine…we will take them….” She immediately says, “oh no…that’s not right, I’m sorry, I only have 3 rooms.” I once again said, “that’s fine…. We will make it work”…. She responded with, “oh no…. No I don’t… I forgot I have to move another guest around. I don’t have room for you.” It was very obvious that she didn’t want us to stay there. When my husband called Hilton customer service…. They said that they could see that they over booked. I can only imagine that since I used my Hilton points, they gave our rooms to a cash paying customer instead. We were then directed to walk across the parking lot to the Hampton inn. I asked if they would give us enough rooms to accommodate our group size for the same amount of money. She said she didn’t know, that I would need to pay today and talk to a manger tomorrow. Horrible customer service. Today, after reading all of the other reviews about the horrendous conditions of the rooms in this hotel…. I believe this may have been the grace of God that we never saw the inside of one of these rooms.

I loved the hotel because of location and the sizes of it. It like an apartment

Liked:Food was excellent and bed comfortable,no dish cloth, no paper towels,no soap.

Disliked:The pool was filthy everyone complained about the pool they said it was closed for the rain.

Awful

Liked:Checked out within 2 hrs of being there, which I have NEVER done in my life. Dirty, smelled, looked nothing like the pictures on the website. No hot water in our room, and when I went to the front desk the ask about it, she told me to let it run for 10 minutes to get hot. What?? That’s more than a whole shower! The sofa bed was disgusting when my son pulled it out. Only plus was they gave me a full refund. Don’t waste your time or money. Go to Holiday Inn Express

the rating says 3.6 stars, but do not be fooled!!

Liked:really quite terrible. stayed with my family of 5 and my brother was going to sleep on the pull out couch bed but we discovered it was covered in stains. there was a hole in the wall, outlet and switch covers coming off the walls, furniture chipped, carpets fraying, door jambs cracking, wallpaper peeling. there were even stains on the walls of God knows what. hallways are 20-30° warmer than the rooms and smell like body odor and feces. water takes 10 minutes to heat up for showering.
