Will not return - waste of money

Liked:Lovely white stand beach and a large stretch to enjoy. Lots of facilities onsite. Rooms were spacious and they offered a variety of restaurants.

Disliked:The rooms were dirty - the floor was so filthy it was sticky. They didn't provide the basics in the room and we had to request this several times before it was delivered - things like slippers, bath mats, hand towels. we also requested an iron but they said they had run out - probably so we would have to pay to get anything pressed. The rooms stunk as well - their in room fragrance is awful. Food was poor quality and desserts were tasteless in the buffet. Also the other restaurants (not the buffet one) were booked out for the whole 4 nights of our stay - we managed to get one reservation at 9:15 pm at night after causing a bit of a fuss. Finally the spa needs to invest in training it's staff. For the level of skill, they should not be charging the price they do. Worst treatment ever. So bad that I cancelled my next appointment and all during the treatment I was wondering when it was going to end. The shower room they have attached to the treatment room could nor run hot water properly, the water was not draining either. So I had to abandon the shower and go to my room to shower there. The property looks beautiful but it really cannot call itself a 5 star if the food and service provision is this poor. I've travelled a lot and hardly ever left a bad review. At the price The Mora charges, I could have enjoyed far far superior stays in Maldives.
