Liked:The hotel is right on the beach and is very peaceful and relaxing, perfect if you’re looking for a quiet and secluded getaway. However, if you’re looking for more things to do around the hotel, it might feel a little boring, as there isn’t much around. The staff are extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. The food is excellent — breakfast, lunch and dinner were all very good. They are also very flexible with both meal times and requests to modify dishes. The only downside is that the service can be a little slow, but honestly, when you’re on holiday, it’s quite acceptable. The room was beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated with a lovely local touch.

Disliked:A few things could be improved: the Wi-Fi is very slow, especially in the evening, and unfortunately the beach was not really accessible because of the large amount of seaweed. We also organised an excursion through the hotel which wasn’t managed in the best way, although the hotel later offered us a discount to make up for it.

Liked:### Disappointing for the Category My stay at SeVi Boutique Hotel unfortunately fell below expectations. We originally booked for two nights but decided to check out after the first night due to the overall lack of comfort and several operational issues. Coming from a tourism and hospitality background with extensive experience staying in hotels, I understand that no property is perfect and always assess hotels fairly based on their category, location, and concept. However, there were simply too many concerns during this stay to overlook. The main issues included significant mosquito problems, an uncomfortable bed, poor soundproofing, unreliable Wi-Fi, and no in-room telephone, requiring guests to visit reception for assistance. Our private pool also did not appear clean enough to comfortably use. Food options were limited and service was slow. More seriously, I found a small metallic piece in my pizza, which raised a food-safety concern. The staff apologized and removed the pizza from the bill. We also experienced a power outage lasting more than 30 minutes before the generator restored electricity. The property feels dated and would benefit from refurbishment and better maintenance. The beachfront also had considerable seaweed during our stay, although I understand this is seasonal and outside the hotel's control. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and respectful. When we checked out early, they apologized and kindly did not charge us for the simple dinner we had before leaving, which I genuinely appreciated. Given our experience, I find the contrast with some of the overwhelmingly positive reviews difficult to understand. Of course, every guest has different expectations, but our experience was unfortunately very different. Overall, SeVi has a charming concept and friendly staff, but improvements are needed in comfort, cleanliness, maintenance, food quality and safety, Wi-Fi, backup power, and guest service.
