Good location, apartment ok, but the apartment building brought the place down

Liked:Location was good to access Manchester sights and amenities. I liked the fact that every room had heaters that could be independently controlled.

Disliked:The outside of the building was heavily scaffolded and this impeded the views from the windows. There were lots of construction noises, although at least they didn't start too early. The internal stairwell was also in need of work and the banister had protruding screw heads that threatened to cause injury. The furniture was functional at best, no frills or comfort factor. For the price, I could have booked a much smarter apartment in the Northern Quarter.
