Disliked:The skinny lady wearing glasses and a green abaya at reception was extremely rude and disrespectful. I travelled all the way from the UK to Makkah with my family and children. My booking was confirmed by both email and WhatsApp, yet she rudely claimed that one room had been cancelled and told me to contact Booking.com and said in poor english have a sit have a sit she scared my kids . She made us wait and then pointed at me saying, “Oye, mister, come here.” This behaviour was completely unacceptable, especially in front of my children.i was leaving hotel without refund . When I asked to speak to the manager, he checked the system and confirmed that both rooms were actually booked and confirmed. A simple check could have avoided the entire situation. Extremely poor customer service and an unacceptable attitude from the receptionist.never ever recomend to any body .

Liked:Spacious room.

Disliked:The bathroom was very small. The floors were not properly mopped, and our socks became discoloured every day. For a 4-star hotel, I have never slept in such an uncomfortable bed. The mattresses were as hard as rock, extremely stiff, and very uncomfortable. The pillows were also very firm. For a 4-star hotel, you would expect comfortable bedding and pillows. As we were in a four-bed room, you would expect at least four of everything, such as slippers, bath towels, and hand towels. However, we were always short of something. The internal windows had clearly not been cleaned, as there were chocolate handprints all over them. There were guests smoking in the room opposite ours, and it took several days for staff to intervene and stop them. I had a baby with me, and the cigarette smoke was coming through the ventilation system despite this being a non-smoking floor. I initially raised the issue with two female members of staff who could barely speak English. When I attempted to escalate the matter to the female manager on duty, she instructed the staff member to tell me to "sit down", which I found extremely rude and unprofessional. I ultimately had to call my cousin, who lives in Makkah and speaks Arabic, to assist me in communicating with a member of the night shift team, who eventually addressed the issue with the smoking guests. The housekeeping team unfortunately let the hotel down. On multiple occasions, we found small hairs on the duvets, dust and debris underneath the sheets, and stained pillows and bedding. Every pillow and sheet appeared to have some form of staining, which is inappropriate and unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. If stains cannot be removed, the bedding should be replaced rather than reused. Management needs to ensure housekeeping standards are maintained consistently, or alternatively provide the team with further training and support.
