Kudos to Alexander at zai

Liked:We had an amazing dining experience at Zai Restaurant, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter, Alexander. He was welcoming, attentive, and professional from the moment we sat down. He made excellent recommendations, checked on us regularly without being intrusive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Alexander's friendly attitude and outstanding customer service truly made our visit memorable. If you're dining at Zai, I highly recommend asking for Alexander. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable!

Needs MAJOR upgrade

Liked:This hotel is not worth the money paid. Upon check in let’s start with amazing check in service, however the concierge that they assign to you will give you an overall explanation of the resort. However there’s a catch. They will try to give you a “free” premium breakfast or lunch and then sell you their premium timeshare or membership services. Additionally they will say they will give you discounts for activities, spa and other items. RUN!!!! All activities book them online prior or once you settle in your room. They sell you the arch for $90 plus but say they will discount it for $70, online we got it 3hrs boat ride and swimming for $19. The Rooms need major renovation. The pool also is outdated. The tiles on deck are super slippery. The beach during month of July is not safe for swimming. This is a surf zone. The food quality sucked. The buffet had very limited options to eat during all times of the day. They only have 3 restaurants and all three the wait time is long. The food quality is extremely low. They claimed to have filet mignon, naan bread, fried rice, all of these at their specialty restaurants and they did not. It was a very cheap version. The naan bread never came, server didn’t even know it was on the menu. Overall it was for an end of summer family vacation with kids ages 7,8. Also the shop in hotel is extremely pricey. Staff needs better customer service training and also they need to hire more staff.

Needs improvement

Liked:The hotel is not very clean. The restaurants have very limited food choices on the menu. The buffet serves the same thing everyday. The only good thing I experienced here at Royal Solaris was a waiter by the name of Jacob Jonathan. He went on and beyond to ensure my dining experience was exceptional!

A Fantastic Family Vacation at Royal Solaris Los Cabos

Liked:We had a wonderful family vacation at Royal Solaris Los Cabos and really enjoyed our stay. The resort is a great size, everything is conveniently close together, so there isn’t a lot of walking required, and the beach is just a short stroll from anywhere on the property. Our room was cleaned quite well every day, and we appreciated coming back to a fresh room after spending time at the pool and beach. The à la carte restaurants were very good. While we were initially limited to three reservations during our stay, we found that we were able to book additional visits directly at the restaurants, which was a nice bonus. There were different menu items at the à la cart restaurants depending on the day, which also gave a good variety. Our kids had an amazing time throughout the week. They loved the kids’ water slide area, the Kids Club, and especially the games room. The entertainment staff truly made our vacation memorable. Ramon provided excellent service around the pool, Caesar was fantastic with the kids at the Kids Club, and Daniel was always friendly and engaging… and Luna was awesome! A very special thank you goes to Luna, who worked throughout the games room, pool, and entertainment areas. Luna was absolutely outstanding with our children. They really bonded with him over the course of the week, and he always made them feel included, welcomed, and excited to participate in activities. His energy, kindness, and genuine care made a lasting impression on our whole family and was one of the highlights of our trip. The only areas we felt could be improved were the buffet, which became somewhat repetitive after several days, and the fact that some of the à la carte restaurants were only open on certain days, limiting dining options depending on the schedule. And maybe a small gripe is that the common stairwells were not cleaned often and carpet around the games room needed to be vacuumed. But those are small issues amidst a great stay. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Royal Solaris Los Cabos to families looking for a fun, friendly, and convenient all-inclusive resort. We made many wonderful memories and look forward to returning in the future.
