Loved the room, staff, and location, but beware the exorbitant (and hidden) parking fees!

Liked:The room, staff, and facilities were beautiful! Our kitchenette was fully stocked, and having a washer/dryer in the room is a huge win.

Disliked:We just received our folio for our stay, and we were charged multiple different parking fees throughout the day when we were told that valet for the day was $30, whether we came in and out once or more than that, and that self-parking was $40/day. We valeted, and one of our days had almost $100 in parking fees! Very deceptive, and we were not happy with that at all. It seemed dishonest, especially when we asked specific questions about the fees.

Our stay was fantastic at the Sheraton Kauai Resort. Beautiful, clean and fabulous staff!

Liked:The property is beautiful. The landscaping is beautiful. Loved the lei making class, Tammy was great!

Disliked:Our studio was in the back, but it was still nice. Parking was a little difficult if you came back to resort later.

Perfect location and resort!

Liked:Honestly-everything! It is on the best beach, our villa was nicely laid out and so great to have a kitchen, staff was incredible with daily bed making and tidying and the pools and amenities were fabulous! Loved morning yoga on the beach every day! I wasn’t really sure what to expect with the resort and villas layout but it worked out great. It’s all one big open property and you can go and use anything. We loved the chill vibe of the villas pool and the resort pool was great for people watching:) Beds were very comfy and blackout curtains in both bedroom and living room were perfect. Kind staff and just a wonderful place to stay!

Liked:- Great access to a more or less private beach - Clean

Disliked:What isn’t clear about this hotel is that these are partly owned apartments. And the Sheraton hotel is actually over the road. So your booking depends on which apartments are available to rent out. The 1st one we were given had a very pungent funky smell. This was disappointing because we were on honeymoon. The 2nd apartment we were given, after complaining, was very close to a noisy generator which disturbed the peace and tranquility of the place. Sadly there were no other apartments available for us to move a 3rd time (and apparently we couldn’t have a room at the Sheraton hotel over the road because they are separate businesses) so we had to stay in a not so idyllic room. I wouldn’t stay here again for the price and I think the 9 rating is a bit shocking. I stay at a lot of 9 rated hotels and this feels a bit generous.
