Great less a surprise $377 cleaning fee.

Liked:The place is nice and well located. It was all great except for the surprise $377 cleaning fee that I was charged upon checkin. I booked on Agoda. Really can't find where I should have expected that fee anywhere. Otherwise a nice, clean place with friendly staff in a pretty spot.

Hidden Fees – Dishonest and Unacceptable

Liked:We booked through Agoda and paid $838 for three nights, including “taxes and fees.” After we checked out, we were shocked to find an additional $377 charged to our credit card for a so-called “cleaning fee” — nearly 45% of the total cost. At no point during check-in, during our stay, or at check-out were we informed of this charge, nor did we receive a receipt or any written notice about it. In fact, the only thing made clear at check-in was that no cleaning services would be provided during our stay. When we called the hotel after our trip ended and we saw the credit card charges, we were told the fee is buried under “Additional Property Policies” on Agoda — which feels intentionally vague. This is a huge hidden fee and completely deceptive. We will not stay here again and urge others to be extremely cautious.

EXPENSIVE / BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES

Liked:BUYER BEWARE! We stayed here for 2 nights in March 2025 and paid ahead of time through a third-party. We prepaid for all room costs plus "taxes and fees". Upon check-in, the office staff requested an ADDITONAL $351.00 for a "Cleaning and Checkout fee". I spoke to staff in person and have emailed them multiple times to challenge the extra charge and they have chosen to flat out ignore me and not respond. In speaking to my third-party vendor where i purchased the rooms they basically apologized and said the hotel did not disclose this charge up front and therefore only the hotel could refund the money. However, they have done no such thing and continue to ignore my requests to discuss this. That is no way to do business and I warn anyone looking to stay here about the additional fees as this company is not honest and upfront. Not to mention, the rooms are large but dated for the associated costs of staying here and there is no pool on site.

Beautiful Grounds

Liked:The grounds were beautiful and the staff very friendly. However, our condo was in need of a total renovation. Cracked tiles, old bathtub and very dark inside. Also, please note there is no swimming pool onsite. You have access to a pool about a block away.
