Different and interesting.

Liked:The apartment had excellent equipment and fittings. Even some actual art. Temperature control also was quite good. We easily prepared a few simple meals there but mainly visited several of the many tourist restaurants nearby or in the old town, which was of the order of a 10 minute walk away. Proximity to bus and railway station is excellent, a big plus.

Disliked:The apartment is probably an old cellar, which helped temperature control. It has an outside area and windows so is not "below ground", but definitely has no "views".Overall it was an interesting experience in the very heart of old Ljubljana.

Wonderful stay in Ljubljana

Liked:The location is great, near the bus station, short walk to the river and old town etc. (The partment is lovely). The host was extremely helpful and let me enter and leave the apartment a couple of hours beyond the allocated time slit due to my journey ( bus) connections.

Our host Marko was attentive and was Close by if we needed anything. I would highly recommend staying here for your stay

Liked:Location, comfort , cleanliness and a great host. The bed was comfortable and the spay was cosy and quiet even though it is in a busy area. We had everything we needed for our stay and were even able to check out later to coincide with our bus. Thank you Marko

Terrific facilities

Liked:Close to.the bus station, I had help entering the building after midnight because of a delayed bus and help the following morning using the appliances, which I really appreciated. I loved that there was an oven in the kitchen to use as well as the stovetop, a washing machine and ironing set up. Everything worked well. The location was also quiet and close to supermarkets and the old town.

Disliked:I had to have lights on all of the time as this was a basement apartment, which I knew about beforehand. It wasn't a problem for me as the excellent facilities in the apartment were more important to me. Generally, I was unhappy with the very high cost of accommodation in Ljubljana but impossible to avoid; the hostels were either too far away or unsuitable, so not an option.
