Liked:The main building looks amazing. It's lovely to walk around the grounds. Cozy room. The staff at breakfast was super friendly. Continental breakfast is also as you would expect.

Great hotel with decent mix of castle feeling and modern amenities

Liked:Great hotel! Perfect mix of "castle" feeling with more modern amenities. Friendly staff, decent rooms with plenty of space - we got a great room with a gorgeous bathroom and view. The hotel featured a fantastic common room that felt like straight out of Harry Potter with comfy chairs! Breakfast was very good with good variety, only downside was that we couldn't sit on the outdoor terrace for that. Plenty of parking opportunities around the hotel, very helpful as it's quite large. We were sad that we had to drive quite early already.

Disliked:More a matter of taste - it's a mix of 18th century vs. modern look, especially for the areas used for business events. I personally don't mind but if you're looking for a more "castle / medieval" vibe, I would aim for something else.

The bar snack menu will be available from 19:00 until 21:00. A bar menu may be available on Sunday evenings, subject to guest numbers. Please contact Ashorne Hill directly to confirm. Dinner is subject to availability at the weekends. Please check prior to arrival if you are considering this option.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
