An old time gem in Laguna Beach

Liked:This is a great location near the main town and very close to the beach. It has an eclectic atmosphere that is a combination of its origin way back in the 20s. And modern day Laguna. Each room is unique with several themes. Several with a surfing theme, some with a casita theme and another that's like an art gallery. Thankfully, each room has an air conditioner because it was hot and hubid during our stay. The rooftop deck has incredible ocean views and great food for lunch and dinner. And the perfect place for sunsets. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, very welcoming. It's our favorite spot to stay when we visit Laguna Beach.

Great spot on the beach!

Liked:Great little spot on the beach. You can’t beat the location, right on the water and lots of restaurants around. The staff was incredibly friendly especially Nathan who got me checked in and insured I had parking. They do have their own lot which is helpful. The hotel itself is a historic building so I t does have some quirks but I felt it added to the charm and fun of the trip. The room was more than adequate for 1 or 2 people and the bed itself was super comfortable. There was a AC unit in the room. The hotel was very quiet at night. There’s a roof top bar with a great view but drinks are really expensive compared to other little bars around. Overall I’d recommend staying.

Seaside Gem!

Liked:My wife and I recently stayed here for a long weekend and it was just perfect. The location on the oceanside of PCH coupled with the old world charm of the architecture created an incredible atmosphere. The staff was so friendly attentive. There are complementary drinks and snacks in the lobby but the highlight for us was a box of chocolates in our room upon checking in! The room was well designed with a surf motif, had a great view of the ocean and was clean. We’ll be back!

Over the top say!

Liked:Beautiful old school ambiance. I must recommend if you have a large group or family please ask for the "casita" 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms full kitchen, indoor dinning and alfresco dinning in the private courtyard, sundeck for views and a private parking spot. Comes with beach furniture and a large BBQ. All this is great and fantastic BUT what REALLY sealed the deal was our concierge.... his title is front desk but he really takes customer service to the next level. The absolute perfection of knowledge, sharp whit, and true concern for the customers well being and comfort. I'm speaking of Nathan! Thank you Nathan! You simply crushed it in our book, absolutely love your sharp whit and how much you truly were concerned for our enjoyment of our stay. The roof top bar/eatery has stunning views and yes there is an elevator just ask. We also loved the free trolleys running everywhere, very convenient, park the car and someone else do the driving while enjoying all Laguna Beach has to offer. Again Thank You NATHAN!
