It was a lovely apartment we would definitely stay again

Liked:It was very central 5 min walk to the station, restaurants, and shops. 10 minute walk to the river lots to do. Property also had great facilities the washing machine was a bonus.

Good property - Value for money.

Liked:Good and cozy property - well furnished and value for money. Baby-friendly - baby crib and high chair are available as well. There was a problem with the bathroom tap hot water, once I informed the host, it was rectified the same day quickly. Very near to the Kingston Railway station (2 min walk).

Disliked:1) The Access pin shared on booking.com was incorrect - I had to stand outside the door for 20 minutes and call the property to figure out the entry access. 2) There was a 250 GBP security deposit which was debited from my card without prior notice, and getting the refund took quite a while (almost a month from the checkout date) and multiple follow-ups with the host.

Liked:The apartment is not bad; it was clean and well-organized. There were some pots missing, but it’s a shame that they behaved poorly.

Disliked:When booking, I noticed that the payment would be made to the property, not directly to Booking.com. One day before the check-inI received a link asking me to confirm the reservation. I simply clicked on it. The reservation was then confirmed. Later that same evening, £250 was debited from my card. At no point does this property make it clear that a deposit or pre-authorization is required. But the worst was yet to come. It had already been almost a week since I had left the property, and the money had still not been refunded.
