Great spot in Jasper.

Liked:We really enjoyed our stay at Tonquin Inn. The property was a great spot to base ourselves while exploring Jasper, and the restaurant out the front was a real highlight for us — such a nice atmosphere after a big day out. The rooms were comfortable, the property had a relaxed mountain feel, and overall it was a really enjoyable stay. The only thing worth noting is that it’s a bit of a longer walk into the main part of town than some other accommodation options, but if you’re happy with that, it’s definitely worth considering. Would happily stay here again.

Would stay in a single room for one night here but for multiple nights I’d go somewhere better.

Liked:We have stayed here before in just a bedroom without a kitchen. Those were worth your money but the kitchen is not! The staff here are usually kind and great too!

Disliked:We had a kitchen suite. They didn’t even give you 4 forks so one of us used salad tongs. The can opener was so old school and cheap to open a can took forever, the pots were old and junkie. Usually I don’t get a kitchenette and instead bring my own stuff and treat it like camping but this time we splurged for a kitchen and I would have been better off bringing our own stuff. Also the floor was sinking and soft on my husband side of the bed. It felt like it was going to collapse.
