A Rare & Amazing Experience!

Liked:The location the Lotus is out of this world, Playa Norte is magical & gorgeous, a five minute walk in either direction from the Lotus & you’re witnessing sunrises & sunsets that romance novels are inspired by! The Lotus property is meticulously cared for & is full of hidden gems, the rooms were quiet & private, the beds & linen were luxurious & turned down daily, the suites were handsomely decorated, the plunge pool & views from the terrace were breathtaking as well as relaxing. The Guru Beach Club - wow! The location, the pool, the music, the beach beds, a twenty second stroll & you’re swimming in the bluest blue of Caribbean, the anticipated service, the Guru team…again wow! In addition the food was just plain amazing & the bar keepers - true masters of mixology, all this included with our stay at The Lotus! The service, grace & generosity of the Lotus team goes far beyond any expectations, we were extremely grateful for the opportunity to experience an amazing level of hospitality, we are humbled for our time spent at the legendary Lotus! A huge thanks to the leadership & team at the Lotus & Guru! Alexander leads the team at Lotus & is a truly cool human being, followed by Ketzal whose story must be shared & Allan a true artiste, all very talented! The Guru team is led by Joaquin & Rogelio, both truly inspiring, professional & dedicated to art of fun! Much gratitude to all!!

Staff at the lotus beach hotel and at the guru beach club were amazing and extremely friendly and helpful but unfortunat

Liked:Beach front and small boutique hotel

Disliked:The plunge pool was very cold The breakfast was at the neighbouring hotels beach club and was very poor service as we were told to sit in a separate room to everyone else where it smelled damp and musty, the tables were not clean or laid unlike in the other area for their hotel guests! We were told that we could only have watermelon juice instead of orange or pineapple etc and only 2 very small glasses which were half filled with ice so extremely small amount ! We were also told that we were only allowed about 3 items on the menu and not a choice of the whole breakfast menu ! We went twice out of our 9 day stay but refused to go after that and resorted to going out elsewhere for breakfast at our own cost which was much nicer and better !

Absolutely perfect

Liked:I stayed at the Lotus Hotel in Isla Mujeres and truly loved my experience. The hotel is absolutely beautiful — the style and design are stunning and feel very intentional, with a chic, island-luxury vibe that immediately sets the tone for a special stay. It felt like the kind of place that makes your vacation feel elevated the moment you arrive. The location was ideal and made the trip effortless. Everything was within walking distance, and having access to nearby beach clubs was such a highlight. Spending the day by the ocean and then coming back to such a stylish, well-designed and CLEAN space made the whole experience feel seamless and indulgent. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always welcoming and happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. Their hospitality added so much to the overall experience and made the stay feel thoughtful and personal. Lotus Hotel was the perfect blend of beauty, location, and island luxury. It truly enhanced our trip to Isla Mujeres, and I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, elevated place to stay on the island.

Gorgeous, charming boutique hotel with incredible service. You won’t be disappointed.

Liked:Absolutely gorgeous view, beautiful room and lovely staff. I’m not sure the location can be beat. You’re steps away from the most beautiful, serene water that is perfect for swimming. The location of the beach at the hotel protects it from the rougher waves, creating a peaceful lagoon that is safe and gorgeous to swim in. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Disliked:The bathroom is small and cramped and the shades on the windows don’t block much light, so it’s difficult to sleep in if you want to. Music from the hotel across the lagoon can be loud at night carrying across the water and sometimes plays until 11 pm. However, we enjoyed the property in spite of those things and will be back with a sleep mask and ear plugs!
