It’s a lovely place but needs to pay attention to the details

Liked:Truly lovely public interiors in an old hotel in a great location Clean and tastefully designed but small single rooms

Disliked:4 flights of stairs and no lift (it’s Europe- I should know by now) Bedside light doesn’t work in room 36 Shower leaks and floods bathroom floor badly No fridge No air con I could see, just a heater with enigmatic controls Worst of all - Dreadfully uncomfortable and unsupportive euro down filled pillows (like most German hotels I’ve stayed in). .. worsened my already suffering neck ache (from previous awful German hotel pillow)

Liked:Room was very nice and had everything I needed Location was great as it was at the edge of old town and also one street away from main transport hubs Breakfast was very nice and nicely presented

Liked:Room and bathroom were both sparkling clean. Breakfast was excellent. Location is close to trams and 20 minute walk to Heiliggiest.
