Exceptional hospitality, perfect location, and a breakfast that blew us away!

Liked:I was blown away by Hotel Goldene Rose. The staff was incredibly hospitable, especially with our toddler, making us feel welcome from the moment they stored our bags early for us. The room was spotless with powerful AC, a comfortable bed, and a crib already set up upon arrival. They even provided a complementary bottle of sparking water, tee bags and Nespresso pods. The location is also perfect—right in the heart of the Old City and a short walk from the station. The absolute highlight was the breakfast. It was a stunning spread in a peaceful space that far exceeded any typical continental breakfast. Beyond the high-quality buffet, the staff served fresh cappuccinos and made-to-order omelets and eggs. As an American, I’ve never seen this level of quality and service included in a stay; it was worth every penny. From start to finish, every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
