A wonderful escape from tourist areas with a beautiful family.

Liked:This is a very special little property right on the shores of Gili Gede. The family are absolutely beautiful and will do anything to make your stay perfect. We had delicious meals and lovely conversation and a great day out snorkelling.

Disliked:I didn't give a perfect score for location and facilities only because it is isolated so if you want access to restaurants etc. you may be disappointed but it was exactly what we wanted - tranquility and wonderful hosts.

Liked:I’ve been travelling SE Asia for 4 months and this was one of my favourite places to stay. I ended up extending and staying for 9 days to explore the Secret Gilis 😊 Sofia makes you feel really at home! She makes the most incredible pancakes for breakfast, checks in with you to make sure you have everything you need, always has a positive and calm energy about her and is always up for a nice chat (which is lovely if you’re a solo traveller) 😊 It was very simple to book my transport to and from the island through her, as well as my snorkelling trips and day trips to Gili Asahan (with her husband as boat driver). She also gave great advice on good restaurants across the two islands. The value for money is exceptional as well. The rooms are furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay (the hammocks are a real highlight!), and the room service every 3rd day is done to excellent standard. Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough!
