Clean quiet stay in isolated location with unfriendly owner

Liked:Nice gardens and pool area, comfortable & quiet. Hot water & aircon. Good restaurant next door for dinner ( at the next resort). The rooms were great, very quiet place.

Disliked:We didn't enjoy the location very much. We have stayed all around gili gede and prefer the komoko side. It's easier to access amenities. From this side you must walk everywhere ( a lot further to get food, cash, laundry etc). No food here after 4 pm. They make you pay extra for juice at breakfast ( no where else we have stayed in gili gede did this). The bathroom sinks stank so badly, we totally understand the water here is not like other countries but we stayed a while in other places on gili gede with no issue like this. We liked the resort itself, but unfortunately, the behaviour of the owner towards guests and online ( their responses to reviews) was aggressive, rude, disrespectful, and demeaning. This is the main reason we would not recommend this resort or return here. Seeing their replies to reviews as well as the way they treated guests was not kind.

Liked:Very quiet part of the island (you don’t hear the Mosques in the morning). Beautiful sunset every night. Small setup, in Total 2 bungalows and 2 double rooms so never overcrowded. Staff are amazing and super friendly. Snorkeling gear provided and the reef is just in front of the beach
