Unclean, unsanitary,dark. Wouldn’t stay again.

Liked:While the management was nice, and friendly and the beds comfortable, that was about it. Our room had a non working TV ( we were told a new one would be coming but never happened) the bathroom floor was missing grout and dirty, the walls looked dirty, the faucet was leaking, hairs that didn’t belong to us turned up, the toilet seat lid was scratched and dirty looking, the towels were very thin and small and frayed with threads actually pulled away, have been anything like it. The headboard had a layer of dust, there was melted ice in the ice bucket and since the ice machine was broken ( no sign saying this so a trek to find out that it was indeed broken) it must have been there awhile. The lighting was a single ceiling light by the door, no other lights in the room except the headboard light so the room was dark and dismal. Be been in budget hotels that were clean and bright with basic working amenities. The Red Lion Everett screams that it doesn’t pay its staff enough, and that whoever owns it doesn’t care much about maintenance. It just says unclean, unsanitary, run down . Thankfully we only had a couple of nights. Would never recommend to anyone. Waste of money.

Failed one-night stay — unsafe, unsanitary, and unresolved overnight

Liked:This was a one-night stay, and the entire night was effectively lost due to serious habitability and sanitation failures. From the moment we arrived, the hotel stank — not mildly, but strongly and persistently throughout the night. The first room had water leaking from the ceiling, with dirty water reaching the bathroom floor. The sink was actively leaking underneath, with visible rot, and the toilet was already clogged prior to initial use late at night, nearly overflowing. When we contacted the front desk, the only staff member stated he was “not authorized” to fix the toilet and required me to retrieve a plunger and plunge it myself. No alternative room was provided overnight, and despite repeated calls throughout the night, no one answered the phone. We were left awake most of the night without a usable bathroom, dealing with leaks, flooding, odor, and cold. One of us became ill during the stay. Only in the morning — far too late to matter for a one-night booking — were we finally given a second room. That room was also unacceptable: it was extremely cold despite the heat being turned on, the sink was completely clogged and leaking, making it unusable for basic hygiene. This clearly was not an isolated room issue but a systemic property problem. We documented everything with photos and videos. Management refused to resolve the situation and directed us to contact Agoda instead. This place failed at the most basic level: safe, usable accommodation overnight. Plumbing, sanitation, heating, odor, and staffing were all unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise avoiding this property.

One of my worst experiences ever at a hotel.

Liked:I liked nothing but the price. Which I was feel now was not worth it.

Disliked:Not a secure place. Anyone can enter the places and floors without a keycard. The door to the room was hard to push open. There were no smoke detectors. There was a something that was spilled on the floor, making it sticky( pictured below). They had a hat or sock covering which might have sprinklers. One of the bed was leaning like it was off track and I found popcorn in the bed so I know the sheets were not clean. No microwave, trash can, chair in the closet.
