Subpar Everett freeway hotel at beautiful beachfront resort price

Liked:As freeway hotels go, it was fine. At that inflated price, however, it was extremely disappointing. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my lifetime, all over the world, and that was probably the largest discrepancy I've ever paid for cost over quality. I grew up in the area and for the life of me cannot figure out why an aging Everett hotel near the freeway is charging more than some beautiful beachfront hotels I've stayed in. What is the draw? To be fair, other hotels in that bracket were similarly overpriced, but that doesn't make an overnight stay there any less disappointing. Rooms were meh - popcorn ceilings? and breakfast was meh. If the price had been reasonable it would have been fine. But the price was ridiculously inflated for reasons that will remain a mystery to me and my Everett resident friends, who were equally shocked at the price point.

Disliked:#1 THE PRICE - absolutely absurd 2. It's an old hotel - popcorn ceilings, old fixtures, carpet, bathroom that has seen better days 3. The price 4. Staff was going through the motions and not very friendly 5. Did I mention the price?
