Liked:Clean rooms and very close to the beach

Disliked:Very old lobby , breakfast was so bad . You sit there for half an hour after you order and was not expecting what you get. I would say it’s just waste money to stay there unless you just care about the rooms and location.

Liked:Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Dana Point was absolutely amazing, and it was all thanks to the incredible staff who made us feel so welcome from beginning to end. The day before check-in, I called to ask if there was a room with a better view since I had reserved a balcony room. Deephi at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. Not only did she assign us a room with a beautiful view, but she also surprised us by upgrading our second standard room to a connecting balcony room. As a Hilton Gold Member, this was the first time I’ve ever received such a thoughtful upgrade, and I truly felt appreciated and valued. When we arrived, Glen at valet immediately greeted us with such a warm, cheerful personality. He was friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely seemed to enjoy welcoming and talking with every guest. He set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional stay. We also had a wonderful experience at the lobby bar. Lisa went above and beyond by surprising my husband with a slice of cake and a candle so everyone could sing “Happy Birthday” to him. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made his birthday even more special and is something we’ll never forget. The staff at this hotel is truly outstanding. Every single person we encountered was kind, welcoming, and eager to help. Customer service like this is hard to find, and it made all the difference. The location is another huge plus. It’s only about a 5–8 minute walk to Doheny State Beach, making it incredibly convenient. Our rooms were spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with both a refrigerator and microwave. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything felt clean and well maintained. We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning another trip before summer ends. Thank you to Deephi, Glen, Lisa, and the entire team for making our visit so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

It did not live up to the Hilton name...

Liked:I didn't really have a view just tree's and a dirty parking lot.

Disliked:You could hear everything from other rooms felt like no privacy. Parking kinda sucked and I Still paid for it. Took me 20 min to check in only one person to help.
