We weren't able to stay in the room we reserved since they gave away our room while at a concert.

Liked:Story down below. The staff did get us a different room, so its better than nothing. However, it only had 1 queen bed for 5 people, so not exactly equivalent to the 2 beds and couch that we reserved.

Disliked:Me and 4 friends booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch a week or two in advance for a concert in Chicago. While attending the concert and before we were able to check in, I received a voicemail at 10pm saying that if we did not call back immediately we would lose our room (even though I paid for it ahead of time). I could not answer as the concert was very loud, so after the concert I called back, and they informed me that they gave our room away to someone else. This is despite the fact that I booked the room for check-in after 11:00pm (which was an hour before they first called me) in addition to me responding to an email from the hotel saying that we were at a concert and that we would be checking in late. They informed me that they gave our room away because I booked through a third party and that they didn't have conformation of our stay. After emphatically telling them that we paid ahead and didnt have anywhere else to stay, they said that their sister location had a room for us. This would have been acceptable except for the fact that the room had one queen bed and not even a pullout couch for 5 people. They didn't even have cots for us to use. I am very disappointed that they gave away our room that was nonrefundable and paid for ahead of time because I was unable to call within an hour of a voicemail that they left at 10:00pm (this was their first attempt to contact me by the way). We did not receive any credit for the major downgrade of our room either. Frankly, this is the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, and I cannot believe the shady practices that appear to be happening here.

Won’t be staying here again

Liked:The view of our first room was nice. They did up moving us from the 10th floor to the 3rd floor

Disliked:First room the sofa bed was broken. Hard to pull up then when we’re able to get it out the springs were on the floor broken. I Was not going to allow my son to sleep on it. They changed our room from 10th floor to the 3rd. Veiw sucked. The shower drain was terrible slow to drain. And the tv kept going in and out. The breakfast was like school breakfast.
